The Academy was originally founded in 2016 by Karl Smith. We are extremely proud of what it has achieved, as probably over 75% of our competitive age category players came through our Academy.
It was born out of a belief that children below the age of 8 need to be nurtured with quality coaching, without necessarily having the pressure of competitive football thrust upon them at that early age.
Our academy children typically come from the immediate Wateringbury area, Mereworth and Kings Hill, but we are open to children coming from a wider catchment area.
